I call myself an artist.  But I really don't see myself as one.  My sketches and paintings are an effort to paint a picture as closely to the real thing as possible.  But in that there is no creative spark, its simply a copy.  I look at other artists who actually create.  Beautiful paintings that give the impression of the real thing but done in a style so unique and so creative (for lack of a better word) that it takes my breath away.  Those artists don't have to paint every detail, every minute brush-stroke.  They see what is, and then they see what could be.  They paint the feeling of the image.  I just paint the image...

The fear that this idea you have inside your head is so amazing and so powerful that there is no way you could ever do it justice.  And every time you try and fail you become more disillusioned with yourself. Thinking you will never be able to get
